When ceiling mounting is the right call
If the wall surface is precious, textured or structurally unsuitable for fixings, mounting overhead is the cleanest solution. It also suits walls with no cornice, very tall walls where a rail at picture height would look wrong, and spaces where the track should be invisible.
Recessed track for a seamless finish
In new builds and renovations, the track can be recessed so it sits flush with the ceiling and effectively disappears. This needs to be planned before the ceiling is lined, so talk to us early if you're building.
Concrete slabs and apartments
Apartment ceilings are usually concrete. We use the correct masonry anchors and drill once for the track rather than once per artwork, which matters when every hole in a strata building is a job in itself.

- Does ceiling track work with raked or sloped ceilings?
- Yes, in most cases. We assess the slope and the wall on site and specify a mounting method to suit.
- Can the track be hidden completely?
- Recessed track sits flush with the ceiling line. Surface-mounted track can be painted the ceiling colour so it reads as a shadow line.
